Education and care in the pedagogical guidelines for the 0/6 age group

Nothing comes from nothing. In 1986, the project “Theatre and crèches” started in Bologna, and it started thanks to a favourable context, created by a network of educational services for early years designed to be educational and cultural institutions committed to supporting the social and personal development of little boys and girls, and to be at their side during those crucial first 2000 days of their lives. Even today, this commitment needs to be constantly nourished. Today, we mark 50 years since the enactment of the law establishing crèches in Italy (Law 1044), and 30 years since their introduction with Law 176.
And we also mark 35 years of “Theatre and crèches”: an opportunity, a surprising gift, a revolution for La Baracca’s artistic life.
